SNOWMOBILE IT!

Text Box: Trails Report

It's pretty safe to say now that our snow season is over for this year. I hope everyone was able to get plenty of quality riding in here in Iowa and especially on our club trail system. I know that the season is just over, but I'm already thinking about next year and thinking about ways to expand and enhance our trail system as we know it. I'm also looking forward to working more closely with Rob Rehms who has graciously agreed to oversee the Hugg Drive and the Big Creek Trail preparation and signing duties.
I am looking for two more people to work with Rob and me in the preparation and planning for other sections of our trail. If you're interested in taking charge of a certain section of the trail, please get in touch with me or Rob.
My main goals for next season will be to finish what I started this past season, but ran out of time before the snow started falling and the ground froze. I will be mowing and marking the ditch between Madrid and Highway 69. I would like to find a solution to our trail problems in Collins, Iowa. I will make the one mile trail connection between Highway 210 and The Heart of Iowa Trail in  Huxley. And most importantly, I will be requesting money on our Trail Grant Request to rebuild our groomer.
One last request. I need people to help pull all the temporary signs on our entire trail system. I'm planning on meeting at Kum-n-Go in Polk City on Sunday, April 27th @ 12:00 noon. I need people and 4-wheeler's with small utility trailers.
If you can help please contact me @ (515) 202-4061.
Thank you!
